The picture above shows some of the trackables we have made in the style of a button/badge. Some have a pin on the back for wearing to events for discovery, while others have an eye on the back for attaching to an object. Each badge is 1.5" in size and is fully trackable on Geocaching.com with a unique tracking number. With the purchase of a trackable here, one will be chosen at random from our overstock and entered in the M3 TB race for you. It may or may not be one of the designs shown, and may include designs not shown. It will be sent to the Maritime Mega 3 committee for inclusion in the TB race, not shipped to you, so there are no shipping charges. Here is how it works:
- The buttons/tags are currently unactivated.
- After your order is submitted, you will be sent a PayPal invoice for your total. Once payment is received, you will be e-mailed the tracking number(s) for your tag(s) and a link to where you can retrieve the activation codes.
- You can then activate your trackables, set their description, and include the required TB Race graphic.
- I will pass the tags off to a local collection person who will get them to the TB race organizers.
- According to the TB Race page: "trackables will then be taken to another event that will be hosted somewhere outside of Canada, likely the United States or the UK. All of the bugs will be released from that location and begin their race back home". This will probably not happen until sometime early in the new year since the race is open for entries until December 1. As a result, do not expect any logs on your trackables right away.
- Again, these tags will not be mailed to you; this page is only for tags that you will activate and that will then take part in the mega event TB race. If you wish to have the tags mailed to you, please see the regular trackables purchase page.
